When a man rides off into the sunset, it is usually a sign of a neat and positive ending.
However, in this context, there is nothing positive about the idiom. Especially when you’ve fallen off your horse and the animal ends up speeding off into the sunset by itself.
The phone issue
In this episode, Princess calls on Jub Jub to help her confirm whether or not her husband, Desmond, is cheating.
She’s noticed that Desmond always leaves with his phone wherever he goes, even when using the toilet. For some people, that’s a normal thing to do, but for Princess, it’s one of the many glaring signs of a person that’s cheating.
The couple lives in Matatiele but Desmond told his wife that he was going to Lesotho to look for cows. He has since not returned home.
Horse drops Desmond in the dust
Jub Jub and the crew finally find Desmond on his horse standing with another woman. And before Jub Jub could put in a word, Desmond speeds off into the sunset. But his attempt to escape fails dismally.
While riding off he suddenly falls face-first onto the dusty road. You can clearly hear Jub Jub and the crew laughing.
It was as if the horse wanted nothing to do with Desmond’s shenanigans and decided to leave the cheater in the dust where he belongs!
The viewers had a field day with Desmond’s downfall.

I choose my horse over my wife
In the end, Desmond decides to chase after his horse instead of facing the music. Back at the ranch, Princess and the other woman are left fighting with each other.
While the other lady tries to explain that she did not know Desmond had a wife, Princess doesn’t believe her. Their brawl continues until the end and it is a sorry sight to see.
