Being cheated on is a humiliating and degrading thing but finding out that you were a side chick while you thought you were a main must be so embarrassing.
This week’s episode of Uyajola 99 is right up there with some of the best we’ve had from the Sunday reality series.
Nokwanda needs clarity about her relationship
We met Nokwanda from Qunu in Mthatha. She suspects that her boyfriend and the father of her children is cheating. They have been seeing each other for six years, and lately, he hasn’t been sleeping at home. She needed Jub Jub’s help so she could know for sure that her suspicions were correct.
To rub salt into the wound, Jub Jub and his team of investigators found out that the boyfriend is cheating using Nokwanda’s car. Lesson to ladies: don’t give your man your car unless he’s really desperate.
Caught in bed naked
As promised, Jub Jub and his team managed to track down Vincent. He is found in bed naked with his side chick. The side chick starts questioning Vincent, who is determined not to answer anything she asks him.
Viewers expressed how chilled Vincent was for someone who got caught red-handed.
Who is the side chick, anyway?
After a series of questions, Vincent started cooperating. He was asked who the girl is he’s cheating with, and he replied that she was his baby mama. The girl confirmed that she has an eight-year-old child with him, while we know that Nokwanda has two kids – a two-year-old and a six-year-old.
So it turns out that Vincent has been with the other girl longer than he’s been with Nokwanda.
Many viewers were shocked to realise that Nokwanda has been a side chick all this time.
A cheater and an abuser
One thing worth commenting on in this episode is how the women didn’t fight each other but rather interrogated Vincent.
The last straw was when Vincent got angry and tried to beat both his baby mamas on national TV. Seriously, Vincent? And that’s in front of all the cameras – how much more abuse are these ladies enduring behind closed doors?
Nokwanda decided that she was done with him and asked for her car keys. The side chick also kicked him out of her room. No car, and no place to stay for Vincent.
Nokwanda, sitting in the front seat of her car, delivered her parting words. “I want to thank you for what you did for me. I’ve made up my mind, I don’t want him. I’ll never call you again, I promise! Thank you very much, Uyajola 99.”
