We’re not sure how we feel about Musa badmouthing one of his wives to the others. Well, this isn’t surprising, especially after seeing how he scolded MaKhumalo in front of everyone in episode 7. This time around, however, the polygamist took things to another level when he decided to have a gossip session with MaCele and MaYeni.
He was “reporting” one of his wives to them and didn’t get the response he was probably hoping for. They were talking about having access to his phone and MaCele made it clear that the only thing she cares about is his bank pin, not his phone password.
Whose phone is it anyway?
Mseleku then brought up the topic of his nosy wife. “What annoyed me is that she even went as far as saying she must surely be a mistress because she doesn’t have my code. I told her she’s trying to get into my business. She’s blackmailing me by calling herself a mistress,” he said.
The husband sees nothing wrong with sharing this information with MaCele and MaYeni. “I am telling you I only talk to my wives, business partners, and my girlfriends. It’s not a secret because I am telling you what I don’t want you to see.”
He believes that it’s dangerous for one wife to think that he gives the others access to his phone. “If you think some wives are better than you and have access to my phone, it makes me think you’ll poison those wives one day. She is making assumptions, which is bad. This creates ill intention in her,” Musa said.
Uhm… all of this because of a cellphone?
But it looks likes like there’s no bad blood between the wives. They got together after he decided to book them a spa date. Things were awkward at first as the four wives had nothing much to talk about.
MaKhumalo commented: “Bringing all the wives together and coordinating something like this isn’t easy because we’re not friends… There’s nothing I want to say to them, so what must I say?”
Getting along just fine
She added that dealing with your husband’s wives is not easy because small things could easily be blown out of proportion. “It’s better to keep quiet to avoid offending one another… I don’t want someone saying I disrespected them while we were together,” MaCele said.
However, there was less tension after their massages and the ladies started feeling freer around each other. “We’ve arrived at a place where the environment is conducive for us to say anything without offending anyone, unlike other days where everything said is seen as an attack,” MaKhumalo said. It was a fun moment between sisters, and they ended up talking about things that they don’t usually talk about.
