Tuesday night’s episode of Umndeni was probably the most anticipated episode in the history of this rather dramatic and surreal reality show.
What was supposed to be a mature family meeting between Bab’ Maseko and his wives quickly escalated into all-out warfare.
Dabula’s house chores complaint
The build-up to the fight all began when Dabula (one of the wives) informed Bab’ Maseko about the uneven house chores distributed among the wives.
“Sometimes I feel like Manzini and I are treated like slaves. Please, as our man, sort it out,” said a concerned Dabula.

Unimpressed sister-wives
The other wives were summoned to the dining room for the meeting, and when informed about Dabula’s comments, they became quite irritated.
“A wife can’t complain about their household duties. Everyone does whatever they are comfortable with. What she called us for doesn’t make sense,” said Nkanyezi.
The meeting almost turned into an argument among the wives. Dabula quickly attempted to douse the flames by mentioning that she’s not arguing but trying to find a solution to a problem.
What’s our child doing here?
The meeting then came to a halt when Fezile’s family suddenly barged into the Maseko household demanding to speak to Bab’ Maseko.
Fezile’s family consisted of her mom, aunts and an intoxicated uncle.
The family demanded to speak to Bab’ Maseko. Visibly surprised at the ambush of Fezile’s family, Bab’ Maseko calmly requested that they wait outside for five minutes as he was addressing another issue with his wives.
Fezile’s uncle would not budge and demanded to know why their child is living with an older man without their knowledge.
What happened next turned into a slur of words, pushing and shoving. Bab’ Maseko retaliated and demanded them to leave his house, while Fezile attempted to keep him calm.
Dabula vs Fezile’s uncle
Before we knew it, Fezile was being pulled left, right and centre by her family. The teary-eyed wife then immediately ran away from the house in embarrassment.
Back at the ranch, things were calm until Dabula and the uncle suddenly engaged in a hilarious kick-boxing match. The uncle miscalculated his kick and fell flat on his behind while Dabula came tumbling down on him swinging punches.
Viewers had a field-day watching that moment between Dabule and the uncle.
