So much has happened in the third season of Umndeni, including Mr Maseko getting rid of two of his partners (who happen to be siblings). Yes, you read that correctly. Then he introduced a seventh partner in the midst of all that chaos.
While viewers were still trying to digest the introduction of the new partner, Fezile’s uncle caused havoc when he engaged in a kick-boxing match with Dabula.
The reunion was hosted by Ukhozi FM radio personality Selby Mkhize, and she wasted no time getting into the nitty-gritty of what transpired in the 11-episode season.
Hair done, make-up done
But first, can we please appreciate how gorgeous all the Maseko women looked at the reunion?
Hair and make-up were on fleek! Dabula and Mahlale’ntabeni were almost unrecognisable, and viewers loved their beauty upgrade.
One viewer even thought that Dabula resembled media personality Bonang with her new look.
Dabula’s English
By now we all know that Dabula isn’t fluent in English but she sure loves speaking the language, making many viewers chuckle during the reunion with phrases like “Bottom from my heart” and “I don’t want to regret myself again”.
Dabula, babes, just speak your home language and let the sub-titles speak English for you.
Nkanyezi is told to suck it
It’s no secret that Nkanyezi isn’t fond of Dabula or any of the other wives for that matter. But she has a serious problem with Dabula and we’re starting to think it’s because Dabula is transgender, but so are Fezile and Manzini. So what is her problem with Dabula?
During the season, Nkanyezi constantly referred to Dabula as he, which Dabula did not appreciate. At the reunion, Nkanyezi also made some snide comment about Dabula’s private parts, and in true Dabula style, she told Nkanyezi to suck it. Yikes!
Bridget the brave
We were never ready for this brave soul!
Bridget is the sister of Malwandle and Lwazi, the two partners who were banished from the Maseko household after squabbling with Fezile.
The siblings told Bridget about their issues at the Maseko house. She had a few things to say about the household, and especially about Mr Maseko.
Maseko is furious at what Bridget has been saying about him and verbally threatened her on national TV.
However, Bridget was not shaken and told Maseko that he shouldn’t even think of laying a finger on her as she’s protected.
Her fearless attitude left a lasting impression on every viewer who was watching the reunion.
She was hailed as a queen.
Viewers loved that she was able to stand up to Mr Maseko.
Yep, it seems like Maseko has finally met his match.
