Schumacher’s plan to secure a lavish lifestyle recently took an unexpected turn. Thando went to great lengths to make Schumacher admit that he was only dating her younger sister for financial gain, but to her dismay, he stood his ground.
Schumacher found himself caught having to choose between the love of his life, and death at the hands of his girlfriend’s sister.
Schumacher steps up his game
While having dinner at the Sebatas, Schumacher went down on one knee and asked for Mpho’s hand in marriage. The proposal happened right in front of Thando, who believes that her sister is making the biggest mistake of her life by choosing Schumacher. When Mpho says yes to the proposal, Thando storms out looking disgusted, to say the least.
Thando believes that Schumacher is just interested in the money and doesn’t truly love Mpho. Will Thando go out of her way to protect her little sister? Even if it means putting Schumacher’s life in danger?
End things with my baby sister or else….
Thando tries to scare Schumacher off but the lover boy doesn’t seem fazed … until Thando orders a hit on him.
She sends her people to kidnap Schumacher, who is then sent to an undisclosed place and tortured.
Thando then gives him an ultimatum: ”I will let you go if you agree to stay away from my sister.”
Schumacher doesn’t hear any of those threats and endures the torture.
Schumacher bears it all
Just as Thando is about to pull the trigger, Hector walks in and urges his daughter to put down the weapon.
And just like that, Schumie lives to see another day. Even while he was being tortured, he managed to focus on the bigger picture.
This never happened
Hector visits lover boy to convince him that the incident with Thando never happened. Schumie decides to go against Hector’s wishes and tells his girl everything. Now Mpho knows exactly how her family operates and begins to appreciate Schumacher even more.
Schumacher is one up now, because he has shown loyalty, which is one thing Hector likes, and the reason he wants Schumacher in his circle. Well played, Schumie.
