The series promised to be a truly South African production, telling a unique African story, based on the book of the same name (called Spoor in the original Afrikaans) by one of the continent’s most prolific bestselling authors, Deon Meyer.
The five-part series weaves together different storylines about black rhinos, the CIA, diamond smuggling, organised crime and a terrorist plot to attack Cape Town. It’s also got a truly kick-ass soundtrack – the title track is now available on all music streaming services.
