Thembi Mtshali-Jones as Gogo Dlamini

Gogo Dlamini is the matriarch who estranged her children because she chose her career over motherhood. Realising that it’s too late to be a good mother, she adopts Gugu – her second chance at being a good mother.
Hope Mbhele as Gugu

Gugu is Gogo’s adopted granddaughter. She thinks she is a real Dlamini, daughter of Thuli Dlamini. Gogo shares the story of how Thuli (her missing daughter) left Gugu on her doorstep in the middle of the night with just a note asking Gogo to take care of her. Everyone except for Gugu knows that she is adopted and not a “real” Dlamini.
Sizwe Khumbuza as Themba Dlamini

Themba is Gogo’s spoilt and sterile son. He is also a good husband who desperately wants to be a father and start a family with his wife. However, Themba keeps a dark secret from everyone, but Gogo knows of the secret that is eating him.
Keke Mphuti as Khanyi Ngubane (Nee Dlamini)

Khanyi is Gogo’s unhappy daughter, married to a man by the name of Robert. She couldn’t get her hands on her mother’s money, so she tries to marry into money – but it turns out Robert wasn’t honest about his wealth.
Zinhle Zuma as Nandipha Dlamini

Nandipha is Themba’s attention-craving and pregnant wife who comes from a disadvantage background and gives off gold-digger tendencies. And just like her husband, Nandi has a dark secret she’s keeping from the family.
Nhlakanipho Manqele as Robert Ngubane

Robert is Khanyi’s arrogant and vindictive husband who also has a lot of skeletons in his closet. He is heavily in debt but was initially a successful financial broker and investor – until a series of bad investments. His marriage to Khanyi is hanging by a thread and just like his wife, he desperately needs money.
