Some people really go all out for the one they love, especially on their birthdays. On Wednesday evening’s episode of Madam and Mercy, we got to see this first-hand. The mother-daughter duo has shown that no gift is too expensive or outrageous for the important people in their lives.
To make her friend Natalie’s birthday extra-special and memorable, Mercy decided to take her to one of her favourite hotels in Cape Town. It was an unforgettable girls’ trip that was dedicated to Natalie and was meant to show her just how much she is loved. The girls had an intimate dinner, and everyone was dressed to impress.
It’s all love
Madam shared some pearls of wisdom with Natalie. “Happy birthday, my darling. When it’s your birthday, don’t get a big head because you’re growing. Stay the way you are, be who you are, and God bless you.”
She added that she treats Natalie as her own child. “She’s such a beautiful lady. She needs to be well-groomed by people that are not jealous of her.”
They wished her growth, success, wisdom and love. “I love Nat. Something that I’ve realised about her is that she’s so open and so honest and so fragile,” Mercy said. She then gave her friend a gift that she’s always wanted.
“Me and Nat have been speaking for quite a bit about her boobs. I would like to gift you with new babies,” Mercy told her friend.
Of course, Natalie was more than pleased with the gift and explained that she’s always wanted to get bigger breasts but was scared. She added that her partner doesn’t quite believe in breast augmentation.
We won’t lie, this was rather unexpected. But we weren’t really surprised because, throughout the years, we’ve seen and heard of celebrities gifting their loved ones with over-the-top things. Do you remember that time when Angelina Jolie bought her ex-husband Brad Pitt a heart-shaped private island? Or how about when David Beckham bought his wife, Victoria, an entire vineyard for her birthday? Don’t even get us started on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s extravagant gifts to one another.
It must be really nice to have friends (and partners) who are able to turn special occasions into unforgettable memories. Natalie is truly lucky to have Mercy in her life.
