Another week came and went, and with it, a regretful lover decided to take the opportunity to win their ex back. We joined Mzwandile Ngubeni as he made his way to Jericho in Pretoria where he met Keoabaka for the first time.

There was no way we could have been prepared for this one. Baks, as he likes to be known, revealed that he and his partner had split up due to some drama between her and her baby daddy and now he was appealing to the whole of South Africa to help him win her back.
Their relationship was never simple but it was happy in the beginning. They first met as friends and when she and her baby daddy broke up, Baks saw the opportunity to make his move and it looked like he had won. Little did he know that the drama was only beginning!
After the trust in their relationship began to breakdown, Baks realised that his lady might be seeing another man. When he hacked into her Facebook profile, he was proven right. It’s never easy to be cheated on and when Baks confronted his bae, it led to an argument and they eventually broke up.
Is there love after cheating?
Despite everything that happened, Baks wanted to show her that he still loves and appreciated her. So he did what all regretful partners do and he invited her to Love Back.
We just wish we could say she was happy to see him!
We met Lerato very briefly and we could immediately tell that she was a strong-willed woman who wasn’t prepared to sit down at a random dinner table. That is, until our man Baks walked in…
She immediately looked confused, puzzled and almost reluctant to look him in the eye! We could sense the tension through the TV screen.
An unpleasant surprise
Lerato didn’t hide how she felt about the whole situation at all. She looked Baks dead in the eye and as soon as he said the words “Love Back” she got up from the table and walked away from the scene of the crime.
We watched as an awkward Baks sat at the table alone, and we overheard from a distance as Lerato proclaimed that she was “not interested in conversations about Love Back”.
She didn’t want to talk to Baks, she wasn’t interested in him and she wanted nothing to do with this whole exchange. She was adamant about the fact that although they dated, she simply did not love him and wanted nothing to do with him.
She didn’t want to be seen on TV and she didn’t want Keobaka. She said it to the cameras and that was that. Mzwandile’s reaction was comical at best, but our hearts did go out to the young man who wanted her to know that he still loved her.
