Celemba had no idea that while he was asking his ancestors to bless his wedding, Ma’Skhakhane was planning to kill him.
Before tying the knot, she met up with MoSotho, who gave her poison with clear instructions and also explained how it works. “If you swallow one drop of that, it causes load shedding in your entire body. The heart stops immediately,” MoSotho said.
Ma’Skhakhane’s plan fails
Ma’Skhakhane was pleased and couldn’t wait to make Celemba pay for killing her son. Although she was filled with anger, she managed to put those feelings aside on the day of the wedding. She acted as if she was happy about getting married to Celemba.
“Today is my day of celebration,” Celemba said before he kissed his bride. The two were officially announced as husband and wife and there were ululations everywhere.
Everyone was in high spirits until the unthinkable happened. Ma’Skhakhane was going ahead with her plan to kill Celemba. She took out the poison she was given by MoSotho and carefully poured it inside a drink.
However, as she was about to give it to Celemba, Mndeni knocked it out of her hands and it fell to the ground.
Vovo lives to see another day, while Fish dies
MoSotho, who was eagerly waiting for Ma’Skhakhane to get the job done, saw the whole thing unfold, took out a gun and fired a shot that went straight to Fish’s back. He immediately fell and was unconscious. Celemba tried waking him up, but he was unresponsive.
“Don’t just stand there looking stupid, go out and find the person who killed my cousin,” he shouted. Is Fish really dead or will he wake up? It’s too early to tell because anything can happen.
Remember when we thought Vovo was dead? Well, it turns out Mndeni didn’t kill him. He planned to make it look like he did, but it was all part of his plan to keep him alive.
Mndeni couldn’t kill Vovo because he’s done a lot for him in the past. After taking him out of the grave, he said: “Vovo, you could’ve easily handed me over to Celemba, instead you sacrificed your life to save mine. You’re the only family I need.”
