The latest addition to Mzansi Magic’s prime-time viewing is sometimes a difficult one to watch as it delves into a story of poverty, heartbreak, redemption, and hope all encompassed into one crime thriller.
If you haven’t watched it yet, DiepCity tells the story of four young women who struggle with the ups and downs of life. But what is heartbreaking, is that with every episode that airs, the young women experience more losses than wins. To make their way in life, they then make the difficult decision of getting involved in a life of crime.
Each new episode comes with its very limited victories and many losses. And no one receives as many losses as Sne, who is portrayed by 23-year-old Nompumelelo Vilakazi.
