A tall, dark and handsome man was every woman’s preference in this week’s episode. But even though this bachelor isn’t dark, he does tick both the tall and handsome categories.
Introducing Tsholofelo Ntuli, a 29-year-old guy looking for an intelligent woman who loves kids and doesn’t rush to party at the drop of a hat. Tsholo is a sales agent and gospel artist who is a member of a church band.
Word on these social streets is that he’s been on Moja Love’s Single & Mingle and now he’s here on Date My Family to try his luck at finding love.
Tsholo’s deal-breaker is someone who is not transparent.
Tsholo is not what Thoko is looking for
On the first date, Thokozile is represented by her male besties Luyanda and Don. She works as a manager at one of the biggest retail companies in SA. Thoko is looking for a tall, dark, and handsome guy with a beard, which she believes is every girl’s dream.
Poor light-skinned guys, they really have it tough these days.
The good thing about this particular date is that Thoko’s representatives asked important and relevant questions. Don asked Tsholo why he broke up with his ex and his reason was that he cheated after he was cheated on.
Tsholo’s reason puzzled everyone, even Thoko didn’t like his reasoning – two wrongs don’t make a right.
When asked where he stays, Tsholo said with a group of friends. Thoko was not pleased with the handsome bachelor’s living arrangement. She concluded that, if he’s staying with five other guys in one house, this equates to a lot of parties and girls.
Date My Family alumni convinces Lungi to find Mr Right on the show
We often wonder what happens to people who searched for love on Date My Family and if they’d recommend going on the show to their friends.
Well, for Lungi, one of her friends was on the show and has since persuaded Lungi to look for love in the same manner. Apparently, the friend did find love on the show and has been in love for the past five years.
The friends asked Tsholo what type of person he is and his first response is that he is an abuser.
Say what now?
Tsholo then back-tracked and said he was joking. Err, abuse is not something to joke about, Tsholo.
Intelligence is key
Modipadi’s family let her down big time! They did not represent her to the best of their abilities. Tsholo struggled to ascertain whether the girl is in school or working. But what’s funny is that her family could not figure out what he’s doing for a living either.
What was also funny about this particular date was when one of the family members asked if Tsholo is intelligent and then proceeded to say that Tsholo does not look like an idiot. What does an idiot look like?
Tsholo ended up choosing Thokozile, who couldn’t believe her eyes when her date showed up. She had thought her family didn’t represent her well. The date was okay except that Thoko still thought the guy was a liar and here for a good time and certainly not a long time. The fact that he gets bored easily caused Thoko to raise an eyebrow. But then, all in all, a second date is secured and we hope this is the start of a new and long-lasting relationship.
