Our recent bachelor is an outspoken author and academic by the name of Adolph from Polokwane. Adolph is looking for someone who will enjoy playing video games with him, is easy on the eye and someone who enjoys exercising as much as he does.
One thing that impressed viewers about Adolph is how well-educated he is. The bachelor is currently doing his Masters at the University of Limpopo.
Boring and too judgemental
The first family represented Tshegofatso, a young lady who hopes to score a date with an intelligent, secure, and preferably tall man. The family prepared an impressive picnic for the date. On arrival, Adolph demanded all the girls to stand up and give him a hug. Adolph’s actions made Tshego realise that her potential boyfriend could be too controlling.
As the date progressed, the ladies found several faults in our intelligent bachelor. Firstly, they thought he wasn’t being entirely honest, lacked a sense of humour and was a bit judgemental. The family didn’t even allow Adolph to pose questions about his potential date.
No thanks to the red meat
In the second family, we are introduced to Motlalepule, who decided to join the dating show as she strongly believes it’s her last hope at finding love.
Unfortunately, Motlalepule’s shot at love came short as Adolph failed to impress her family. Not only was the family not impressed with his appearance but they were also shocked that Adolph doesn’t eat red meat. Although the family did their best to represent their daughter, Adolph just kept disappointing them. He himself was not impressed that they had offered him red meat.
Girlfriend allowance or nothing
Kuhlula’s family and friends were clear in that in order for Adolph to date her, he has to make sure he has enough money to wine and dine Kuhlula. Seriously?
But poor Kuhlula did not share the same sentiments. Her friends threw her under the bus as the money conversation rubbed Adolph up the wrong way.
Adolph doesn’t believe in girlfriend allowances and would never date someone who believes they deserve such.
Good for you, brother!
Adolph ended up choosing Tshegofatso, and the date not only ends up in them settling to only be friends but things turn more sour after Adolph’s absurd inquiry. Adolph asked Tshego if she would mind having 10 kids or if she would consider polygamy as an option in a relationship.
