On the latest episode of his reality show, the musician and producer met up with Sindi, a lady who used to be in a relationship with his late mother, Brenda.
“There’s so much that I haven’t spoken to Sindi about. Things that happened in the past,” he said, adding that Sindi and Brenda had a very close relationship. “There’s a lot of things that I feel uncomfortable with, but I have to approach Sindi… I want to speak about the things that happened in the past between her and I. Things that didn’t sit well with me.”
Confronting the past
Bongani revealed that he believes he was molested by Sindi when he was younger. “I didn’t feel right the time you asked me to come and join you so that we can sleep together,” he said. He told her that he didn’t appreciate that he would often have fights with his mother because of her. He reminded her about the time when Brenda left the country and he had to stay with her.
“You were like, ‘no, Bongz, since your mother is not here you can’t sleep in that room and I sleep in this room. Come and sleep with me.”
He explained that when he got to the bed, Sindi started touching him and even told him to come closer. Sindi then shared private and sensitive information about Bongani’s late mother.
“Brenda lost a child. I won’t go into details because it’s very sensitive… Brenda wanted to leave a part of herself behind and she wanted to make sure that she left a child who belonged to her.”
According to Bongani, his mother was not a pimp and Sindi’s story just doesn’t add up. He asked: “How the hell is Brenda going to pimp her first and last born to sleep with some woman so that they can have a child?”
All is forgiven
Sindi said a meeting was held for her in Sunninghill, north of Johannesburg, and there were notable people there.
“They asked me what I wanted in life. I was promised all the fortune in the world should I sleep with Bongani and give them a child.”
At the end of their conversation, Sindi apologised.
“That’s a big twist,” Bongani said after hearing Sindi’s side of the story. “I’m glad you told me because for the longest of time I was not okay.” He thanked Sindi for acknowledging what she did to him and thanked her for apologising. He added that he’s now at peace and they hugged it out.
